Dxrkwrld | Individual Trajectory
About the Project
The Individual Artist Development Trajectory for Dxrkwrld is a focused mentorship and creative coaching program dedicated to supporting this promising young Dutch producer from Numansdorp in his transition from producer to fully independent performing artist. Already recognized for his production talent, Dxrkwrld aims to deepen his artistic capabilities by developing essential skills in singing, vocal technique, and performance, alongside defining a unique personal style and artistic identity.
Under the mentorship of George Booij from WDC Foundation, Dxrkwrld will receive intensive support to refine his vocal skills, expand his creative expression, and strategically develop his brand identity. The program also includes guidance on financial management and branding strategies, equipping Dxrkwrld with comprehensive tools for sustainable career growth as a fully-fledged artist.
Personal and Professional Growth
This trajectory prioritizes practical experience and personalized mentorship, especially focusing on vocal performance and style development. George Booij will mentor Dxrkwrld closely, supporting his overall artistic vision, creative projects, and strategic career planning. Additionally, a specialized vocal coach will be engaged to significantly enhance Dxrkwrld's vocal techniques and performance confidence.
Dxrkwrld will also work closely with professional studios and experienced music video directors, enabling him to produce and release high-quality, professionally crafted music projects that authentically reflect his artistic vision.
Current Status
The development plan for Dxrkwrld's individual trajectory is currently being shaped collaboratively between Dxrkwrld and our team at We Don't Care. Although our official consultation with Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie is scheduled for July 2025, we are already using the extensive resources from their webinars and published materials to begin structuring the plan.
While we aim to submit the full application as soon as possible, we are also considering the broader context: only a limited number of proposals can be submitted simultaneously to FCP. Additionally, we are currently exploring the option to first stabilize the foundation itself and further develop our methodology. Doing so may strengthen the positioning of individual projects like this one and improve their long-term impact. If both tracks can run in parallel, we will move forward with submitting the Dxrkwrld application without delay.
What Do We Still Need?
- Vocal Coach: We are actively seeking a dedicated vocal coach to guide Dxrkwrld in strengthening his voice, performance confidence, and delivery as he transitions from producer to solo artist.
- Funding Submission: We are finalizing the written development plan for submission to FCP and will continue identifying potential backup funders if necessary to secure the full scope of the trajectory.
