About the Project

With MV-01: Music Videos for Upcoming Artists, We Don't Care Foundation supports six emerging rappers from Rotterdam in creating their first professional music videos. Many of these artists are already visible in their communities but lack the resources to access high-quality audiovisual production. MV-01 removes this barrier by providing full-scale support—direction, camerawork, editing, and campaign building—completely free of charge.

Beyond delivering a finished video, MV-01 emphasizes the process: young artists collaborate closely with professional directors, editors, and media makers while involving their friends and peers in active production roles. This transforms each project into a shared learning experience that strengthens not only the artist's career path but also their local creative network.

Vision and Goals

Our goal with MV-01 is to create a sustainable model for talent development through audiovisual storytelling. By giving young rappers the tools and mentorship to define their visual identity, we strengthen their artistic voice and expand their opportunities in the cultural field.

At the same time, we aim to transfer knowledge directly into the neighborhoods where participants come from. By engaging their close circles, MV-01 helps to build small, self-sustaining creative teams who can continue developing projects beyond this program.

This is the first edition of what we envision as a recurring program that annually supports new upcoming talents with professional music video productions.
