CC-JFK'25 | Creative Camp New York
About the Project
Following the success of our independent pilot Creative Camp organized by We Don't Care (WDC) in 2024, the upcoming CC-JFK'25 aims to elevate this innovative format under the We Don't Care Foundation umbrella. This dynamic international initiative seeks to offer young Dutch creatives, specifically musicians, audiovisual artists, producers, and content creators, a transformative opportunity to immerse themselves in the thriving creative landscape of New York City.
Vision and Goals
CC-JFK'25 is designed as a professional, hands-on, and immersive experience aimed at fostering international cultural exchange, creative inspiration, and meaningful networking opportunities. Participants will engage closely with established artists, producers, A&Rs, and industry professionals in New York, gaining unique insights, advanced practical skills, and essential international experience.
Our extensive existing network in New York provides valuable connections, while participants themselves will have opportunities to invite their own contacts for studio sessions and meetings, creating an enriching and collaborative environment.
Our aim is to expand the scale and quality of our initial pilot program, enabling more young Dutch artists to access this valuable international exposure and networking opportunity.

Current Status
We have explored funding opportunities with Dutch Music Export and Fonds Podiumkunsten. However, Dutch Music Export currently only supports individual international travel for artists, and Fonds Podiumkunsten's international funding streams for this kind of project are not open at the moment.
To strengthen our approach and improve long-term feasibility, we are also developing a broader methodology under a separate application to Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie. This method, based on our Creative Camps format, will serve as a structured and proven model to support youth development through immersive, multi-day collaborations. By doing so, we aim to build a recognized and fundable framework that will increase the impact and scalability of future camps, including CC-JFK'25.
As a result, the New York edition is temporarily on hold while we secure the resources and structure necessary to deliver it at the highest level.
- Funding Partner: Our primary requirement at this stage is securing a suitable funding partner or organization that aligns with our vision and can help make CC-JFK'25 a reality once the methodology has been validated and supported.
