CC-JFK'24 | Creative Camp New York 2024

Bridging Local Talent with Global Opportunities

In the spring of 2024, the We Don't Care team self-organized a 10-day Creative Camp in New York City, laying groundwork for what would eventually inspire the foundation's international ambitions.

With no external funding—only personal investments—we traveled with a small group, including young producer Dxrkwrld, to explore, connect, and create in the heart of one of the world's most dynamic music scenes.
Throughout the trip, we booked studio sessions, collaborated with local artists, and met with influential players like Alejandro (Jersey club pioneer), Wooten (emerging New Jersey producer), and Forever Mike (rapper from the Bronx), among others.

This camp was not just about making music; it was about forging authentic relationships, understanding regional creative ecosystems, and testing how flexible, high-intensity creative periods can drive artistic and professional breakthroughs.

The success of CC-JFK'24 reinforced a key insight:
short, focused, international collaborations have lasting impact on young creatives' skills, networks, and career perspectives.
It also demonstrated that intensive creative camps could and should be formally integrated into our foundation's Talent Development strategy—supported by future research into accelerated learning, cross-cultural creativity, and long-term professional outcomes.

Soon, we will also release a behind-the-scenes video documenting the sessions, meetings, and creative moments from CC-JFK'24.
The link to the video will be shared here as soon as it goes live.

Moving forward, We Don't Care Foundation plans to develop official Creative Camps (CC Series) that combine artistic production, method development, and international connection—helping new generations of creators step confidently onto the global stage.
